CLASS OF 2011

Medical Student

Sarah Burke worked in the Neuroanesthesia Lab in summer and autumn of 2011 as a 4th year medical student at Emory University School of Medicine doing her discovery phase project. Her work helped to establish and explore an in vivo model of anesthesia emergence. Prior to medical school Sarah received her Bachelor’s degree from Emory University in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology.

Research Assistant

Mayuri Maddi worked in the Neuroanesthesia lab in Spring and Summer of 2011. Her work helped demonstrate the therapeutic potential for neuroprotection of low doses of thrombin. She received her BA from Columbia University and MS in Molecular and Cell Biology from Georgia Institute of Technology.
